Bill Clinton: A Reaction

P3140060

It was Tuesday afternoon and I was romping down Lima Road in my Chevy Suburban with The Dave Ramsey Show at full blast when it hit me. I was going to see the former president of the United States of America. Not the mayor, not a councilman, but the actual president.

A Presidential St. Patrick’s Day

obama-st-patricks-day.jpgAs this is a day of celebration (after all, it should be with a saint with such a saintly name) presidential candidates have provided festive apparel bearing their names for purchase on their website (and most likely at their events). Barack Obama’s website sports a t-shirt and button with the Irish trappings that define such a day as this. John McCain’s website includes multiple buttons, T-shirts and mugs with not just green and shamrock but also some that say “Irish for McCain”.

Senator Clinton’s website does not include any festive gear.

For those of you who don’t know, ‘superdelegate’ is an informal term for a delegate to the Democratic National Convention not directly chosen through a primary or caucus. They are party officials as well as current and former elected officeholders.

Just whom are these ‘superdelegates’ from …
