A-rod outearns Florida Marlins
For those of you that are sports inclined this one is a bit of a shocker, but not really.
Alex Rodriguez is earmarked to learn an MLB-leading $28 million this upcoming season. The 33 players named on the Florida Marlins’ opening-day roster (and disabled list) add up to a nice $21.8 million. Yes, the entire team.
Granted, the Marlins recently traded away its two biggest studs, Major League Baseball is going to face a daunting question of economics.
Can teams continue to pay these outrageous amounts for players?
