President John McCain, not so fast old man

They didn’t give him a chance. They said he should quit. They said he couldn’t win. They said it was going to be all John McCain. They were wrong.

The math looks shaky. The chances look slim. The percentages look small. He’ll need a miracle. Tonight, yes folks, tonight. February 9, 2008 could have been the start.

Now, I might be wrong. I probably am. February 9, 2008 could very well be a day we’ll never remember. But if Mike Huckabee’s miracle pulls through this will be the start of things.

With Kansas and Louisiana in the bag, Mike Huckabee has won two states of the three today. Washington is simply just too close to call.

The pundits gave him no chance. They said it was all John McCain.

Although, Mike is still far behind in delegates what he won today is more important. He won momentum. He has a chance. Albiet, small. There is still a chance.

Now, in all honesty, John McCain is very close. Very close. He will probably wrap the nomination up in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, he’s going to get a run for his money.

As the old cliche rolls, “It ain’t over till it’s over.”

  • He really needed Virginia to keep the Mo. That win stopped the minor bleeding for McCain and Huckabee needs a minor miracle now…
