Grown tired of the phrases “failed Bush economic policies” and “the last 8 years of this administration” have I, or at least my inner Yoda rebukes the continual repetition of these soon to be cliche phrases.
Even as we, America, rush to force our President of the past decade out of office, we must pause and take a moment to reflect and examine Mr. Bush’s administration. We must look deeply and analytically to discover the true gift has Bush’s presidency has offered our country and President-elect Obama. This is the first in a series of posts I will make on the Obama cabinet in the next few days.

Hillary Clinton – Senator Clinton appears to have a lock on the job if she’d like it; however, I’m not convinced she will accept the position. The Secretary of State position would give her enormous experience points in foreign policy, but I think the Senate is still the place for her if she is even thinking about running in 2016. Like many companies in America, a majority of these companies are traded on a stock exchange, whether that be AMEX, NYSE, or NASDAQ. Therefore, when these publicly traded corporations make a profit, those profits head to the shareholders in the form of dividends. And when they don’t get dividends, the value of the company often rises which gives the shareholder an increased value for their shares. (Sorry to go through the stock market tutorial, but …

It was Tuesday afternoon and I was romping down Lima Road in my Chevy Suburban with The Dave Ramsey Show at full blast when it hit me. I was going to see the former president of the United States of America. Not the mayor, not a councilman, but the actual president.
As I rolled past the Grand Wayne Center, the line had not yet crept outside the door, but by the time I finally got in line at 4:40pm, we were about 20 feet outside the Grand Wayne Center.
The people around me in line were extremely nice (even though my Republican roots were clearly printed on the back of my …
