It was Tuesday afternoon and I was romping down Lima Road in my Chevy Suburban with The Dave Ramsey Show at full blast when it hit me. I was going to see the former president of the United States of America. Not the mayor, not a councilman, but the actual president.
As I rolled past the Grand Wayne Center, the line had not yet crept outside the door, but by the time I finally got in line at 4:40pm, we were about 20 feet outside the Grand Wayne Center.

I spent this past evening at the Bill Clinton Speech down at the Grand Wayne Center. My full reaction will be forthcoming. Clinton spoke with great poise and charisma. Although, I didn’t agree with much of what he was saying - he was an amazing speaker and I really enjoyed the event.

If you didn’t notice, yesterday was Super Tuesday. The big news yesterday was the “Huckacomeback.”
Mike Huckabee was considered to be the John Edwards of the Republican Party. You know, the I’m in the race, but not really type of candidate. The only problem with that notation is that Huckabee nearly won several states. His big loss was Missouri, that hurt. Big time. I know I said my last post would be a couple of days ago, but after the week I had plus an 8 hour car ride back to Fort Wayne I was pretty tired.
So…here are my final thoughts.
I find the Iowa caucus to be both maddening and wonderful at the same time. On the one hand, here is 234,000 Democrats deciding who the frontrunner would be for the balance of the primaries.
The potency of The Caucus is only exacerbated by the abbreviated primary season, with the New Hampshire primary only five days after Iowa and the majority of the rest of the delegates to the Democratic National Convention …
