Knocking Huckabee off the VP List
Well, I’d like to say this is official from the McCain campaign, but it’s not. In fact, nobody has even mentioned the fact that Mike Huckabee is obviously off the VP List of about 20 names, but Huckabee certainly knows it. Of course, I’m making the assumption that the former Arkansas Governor was even on the list.
So how do I know he’s off the list? Typically, when you find out you are no longer a candidate for your desired job you go searching for other opportunities.

Yes, I voted Democrat today.
Today was a hard day - my first primary election and my card reads, “17 Year Old Democrat.” I nearly cried.
No, but seriously - I felt my vote was best served selecting the best candidates on the other side. (As I will admit, they do have good candidates - just not as good.) And since nobody showed up to challenge my Democratic declaration, I didn’t have to refuse to sign the affidavit.
For the Office of President: My vote was Barack Obama. I feel he is the 2nd best candidate for President (actually, the 3rd, but Mike Huckabee is out). I see Barack as the best leader from the Democratic ticket. I don’t see Hillary as an effective leader, so I won’t …

What is Mike Huckabee up to?
Mike Huckabee’s website is spouting off rumors in all directions. In less that 18 hours, Huckabee’s new website will launch which brings us to three conclusions.
PAC Formation - This being the most likely option that Huckbaee is going to form a PAC, with the FairTax being the likely subject.
Telvision Show Announcement - Huckabee charmed America while running and a TV show wouldn’t surprise me, especially because he has worked in radio/tv.
Vice President Announcement - This option has about a .01% chance, but it is a remote possibility. I highly, highly, highly doubt this.
With about 70% certainty, my guess is the PAC. I’d sure like to work for …

Ok, Barack: Tomorrow is your chance
I was a Mike Huckabee guy. Then Mike Huckabee dropped out and off came my bumper sticker. John McCain, while I agree with him on more positions than Barack Obama, has done little to convince me that he has the power to bring this country back to where it should be. Hopefully, he can do so.
That’s why Barack intrigues me. I’m on his mailing list and when that email came through at 3:11pm this afternoon for tickets into tomorrow’s event I was on it like a hawk. By 3:13pm, I had a pair of tickets.
